ActiveHost is great! I transferred two domains from another server that I had unresolvable troubles connecting to. I called Alex and we were set up in no time. I was having problems with one of the domains resolving after the changes with Network Solutions and Alex helped us narrow it down to our local isp's dns servers and even called them for us to help them get their servers updated. Tech support has always been great.

I set up one of my clients with ActiveHost on a friend's recommendation. The first time I had to call for support it was a NTFS permissions related issue at 11:30 PM on a Saturday during a late night coding session. I took a shot and figured I would call, leave a message and just wrap things up for the night hoping that on Monday morning someone would call me. I was so shocked when someone actually picked up the phone on their technical support line. The next shock came when I explained the problem to the gentleman on the other end of the phone along with what I thought the fix was. I was waiting for a dumb sounding "uhh", or even to be put on hold while he checked with someone else. Instead he says "Yeah that sounds like that's what it could be. If you will hold on for just a second I will get it taken care for you." He was back on the phone in about two and a half minutes and the problem was resolved. That was two years ago. Now all my clients are hosted at ActiveHost.
